With the Impaktor 850- we have developed an extremely powerful machine that is specifically designed for demanding shredding tasks. With a 340 kW CAT C9 engine and a generous hopper volume of up to 8 cubic meters (including the tilting hopper), the Impaktor 850 enables efficient material processing. Another outstanding feature is the 4500 mm pressure height of the pressure belt, which creates optimal conditions for downstream logistics. With its impressive performance and high flexibility, the machine also impresses with its user-friendly operation. It is equipped with easily and quickly replaceable screen inserts as standard, which allows flexible adjustment of the fraction size. This ensures that the Impaktor 850 is always optimally adapted to the respective material and offers maximum efficiency.
We have learned a lot from previous experiences and have consistently incorporated these findings into the development of our new mid-range machine. Just as with the luxury Impaktor 1250 Hybrid, we have analyzed the most common problems and developed solutions. The air circulation now takes place from the inside out: cold air flows through a fine pre-filter into the interior, is directed specifically at the engine and accessories, and is then efficiently discharged as warm air again. This supplies all components with fresh air, which prevents overheating. The interior of the machine is always very cool.
Our long-time colleagues, Head of Design Adrian Scholl and “twin-axis technology pioneer” Norbert Hammel, have taken into account valuable practical experience and knowledge from previous models in the VZ, VB and Titan series. All the strengths and proven advantages of these machines have been combined in the new Impaktor 850, resulting in a powerful and optimized solution. This feedback and the lessons learned have contributed decisively to the new machine operating at a completely new level in terms of efficiency and reliability.
The flexible combination options are particularly noteworthy: the magnet fitted as standard on the machine can be used for transverse or longitudinal ejection. A transverse belt is also possible for non-ferrous materials. These versatile configuration options ensure maximum adaptability to different applications.
The provided performance data are average values without guarantee! Actual values depend on the shredder's configuration, shaft setup, screen inserts, and optimal material feeding.

Ideal access to the drive unit with hydraulic opening of the cover for service, maintenance and cleaning work. Extremely quiet – 80db(A) – thanks to the newly developed intake system. The intake air is guided through a fine filter, over the engine, hydraulic and electrical components and then discharged into the open air.
The screen insert forms a unit with the substructure and is firmly connected to the conveyor system. For maintenance work, this entire module can be easily and quickly extended as soon as the superstructure is tilted back. This makes access for service, cleaning and replacement particularly convenient and efficient. This solution not only saves time, but also minimizes downtime and makes machine maintenance significantly easier. The counter bars can be replaced by hand and without tools.
In working position, the superstructure is tilted forward and hydraulically moved into working position. The screen basket is located under the shredder shafts. In this position, the discharge height of the pressure belt is 4500 mm. The pressure belt can be adjusted between 1000-4500 mm.
The upper structure of the machine can be tilted backwards, while the substructure, which is firmly connected to the chassis, allows the sieve basket to be easily removed on rails in this position - without dismantling the axles. The entire cover can be lifted hydraulically for servicing the drive unit.
For transport, the superstructure is lowered hydraulically. The pressure belt can be lowered and tilted for a compact transport position. Transport dimensions: Height: 3,200 mm Width: 2,200 mm Length: 9,250 mm
